 An Unforgettable Day

An unforgettable day in my life was on Sunday, 25th September 2022. It started like a normal day. I went to my Bharathanatyam class alone because my friends went to the BMICH book exhibition.After the class, I got down from the bus and called my father, but he didn’t answer. Then I called my brother and started walking to meet him. After that, I don’t remember anything.

When I woke up, I was in Gampaha hospital. My father told me that I had been hit by a motorbike. I had several injuries, especially on my face. My family was very worried, and I also felt very sad.My friends came to see me and supported me a lot. Now I am completely fine, and my face has healed well.

This is a day I will never forget. It taught me that many people truly love and care about me.

A Beautiful Step in My Kathak Journey

 My Kathak Gunguru Poojawa was another beautiful day in my dancing life. At first, I started dancing because my teacher encouraged me, but now I like Kathak very much. During the Gunguru Poojawa ceremony, I wore the gunguru for Kathak. After that, I also did my Praveshika exam. Dancing with gunguru is not an easy thing. When we dance wearing gunguru, our legs can hurt a lot. But I really like the sound of the gunguru when I dance. It makes the dance more beautiful and special. That day is a day I will never forget in my life. It was a great opportunity to take another step forward in my dancing journey. I am very excited to learn more about Kathak in the future.

  Anuradhapura is a very famous historical place in Sri Lanka. It is a very old city. Anuradhapura was the first kingdom of Sri Lanka. There are many temples in Anuradhapura.Some of them are Ruwanweliseya, Jetavanaramaya, and Abhayagiriya ect. There are also many tanks in Anuradhapura, such as Tissa Wewa, Kala Wewa, and Nuwara Wewa ect. Lots of people visit Anuradhapura every year. Because of that, Anuradhapura is a very important historical place in our country.
